Climbing season, Important!

Climbing season in the concession zone goes from November to March of every year. This climbing season is closed in March 31st.
Expeditions that want to climb Ojos del Salado between April and October must get a special permission from our enterprise, apart from that of DIFROL. Every expedition must have a satellital telephone and a GPS.
Aventurismo will have a rescue team in Copiapó during the whole expedition to be activated at any danger situation explained by the satellital call of the expe. All the costs of this rescue operation will be charged to the expedition.
No personnel of our enterprise in the concession zone during this time, only satellital communication.
Price list of our services in the zone of Ojos del Salado Concession.
  • 1.- Admission Tax: Is the service given to the expeditions that want to climb Ojos del Salado Volcano or any other mountain in the zone of Ojos del Salado and need to use our concession zone for acclimatizing or like a Base Camp before or during their attempt to the summit. This service is given only to the mountain climbers and refers to:
1.- To keep a communication base in the zone.
2.- To keep a communication system in Campamento Atacama with every expedition going to the summit of Ojos del Salado. Every expedition will receive a VHF radio to communicate with this this base during all the time of the summit attempt.
3.- To keep a Professional Mountain Guide (UIAGM, ENAM, AGAM or similar in Campamento Atacama, to help in any situation of danger and to form a resque group if necessary.
4.- To keep a 4 WD vehicle in Campamento Atacama to help in any situation decided by the Guide in charge.
5.- To keep places for setting tents or refuges to sleep in any of the places of the enterprise (Laguna Verde, Claudio Lucero Refuge, Campamento Atacama, or Refugio Tejos.
6.- To keep clean all these places.
7.- To preserve all the natural resurces.
8.- To preserve all the natural conditions of the zone, like birds, animal, etc.
9.- To determine all the authorized ways to get the summit of Ojos del Salado.
10.- To help in any resque situation in Ojos del Salado and other summits near this zone, may be in Chile or Argentina, when the corresponding national authorities decide.
This tax must be paid by all the climbers that want to attempt any mountain in the Concession area. The price is the same if the climber gets or not the summit.
These are the prices:
Chilean and foreigners with residence in Chile US$­­­­50 pp. (*)
ForeignersUS$­­­­160 pp.
Time of being in the zone by this tax 12 days. (**)
*This value belong to a promotional tax in order to promote the national mountain climbing.
**In case of bad weather, the in charge personnel of our enterprise can extend this time period.

saludos: una consulta nose como podria xcontactarme con ustedes directamente, para saber si es una agencia de viajes? si me podria dar informacion mas detallada de los dias de salida cuantos son por grupo,

yo quirero tomar el tour pero solo soy yo soy de arequipa - peru, espero su pronta respuesta gracias.

hola soy de la zona y aficionada al trekking y aun no he podido contactarme con un grupo de personasque le guste este tipo de actividad aqui en copiapo te  agradeceria si me pudieses dara algun dato y ademas informarme si hay algo para febrero ya que salgo de vacaciones y me encantaria hacer alguna ruta. se despide esperando tu pronta respuesta claudia
